5-3-14 Kameo has a pending adoption.
7-14-13 Kameo has had a couple of meet and greets. The first one, she showed her "stubborn" side and then Red Ace was picked instead. Her last meet and greet this past week, she showed so much better, and while she was not picked, she was a very close second.
We have put Kameo on daily Propalin Rx to help with a very slight incontinence every once in a while. She is getting 1/4 tablet daily, and we have not seen any tell tale spots. She has been a house dog prior to coming here, and we were told that she had been given canned cranberry because of the water there. Our vet suggested we try the Propalin, and it is working well for her. (The medication cost is approximately $20 for 60 tablets from my vet)
5-10-13 Kameo is officially off of her diet, she looks much better. Yet, we still have the "attitude" that comes along with being over weight. We are working on it, but she has had 3 years of "spoiling". Kameo loves to go for leash walks, and will settle on the leash with Mark. She will try to pull at first, then goes with using better manners. So, she can behave, just chooses not to.
2-23-13 Kameo comes into rescue as an owner surrender, due to moving in with elderly family member and working long hours. Kam needs manners training and some weight loss before she will be ready for her new home. Kameo was born in October 2009 and picked up in November 2009. She is up to date on shots, but we still need the paper trail proof.
