10-19-14 Bouncer has a deposit to hold him until we feel his weight loss is going well, as he is under vet supervision. He weighs 60 pounds today. Bouncer has made 2 field trips to PetSmart, yet found his new family with a nice local family who has 2 Senior dogs, cats, chickens, horses and kids! The new family is very willing to wait for Bouncer to be ready, and also do not wish to rush him. It's all about him getting healthy!
9-12-14 Bouncer is an 8 year old ACD x Corgi male who weighs 70 pounds. He needs to lose about half of that weight. He was owner surrendered to an IN shelter where he was adopted as a puppy, saying they could not care for him any longer. He is slow moving, for now, and there are sure to be medical concerns, as he becomes healthy. (One good thing, he cannot lift his leg to pee.)
This guy is just as SWEET as can be. What a LOVER! He follows you around step for step when he can, or follows you with his eyes. Bouncer will see the rescue vet on Thursday, to set up a game plan.
