6-22-13 Meet and Greet with a pending adoption for Mr Sandman. Sandy was very happy with his new Dad and ACD sister, Gizmo.
4-10-13 Sandman comes back into rescue, due to "heeling" visitor(s) that he was afraid of. Sandman was wonderful with the adopter and his children. I was shown a video of the girls teaching him to jump through a hoop and over a jump. The adopter was a first time ACD owner, and seemed to rush meetings with strangers (in my opinion)..
3-10-13 Sandman nka Tanner has a pending adoption, with pickup later this week.
12-17-12 Sandman comes into rescue as an owner surrender, due to the owner moving into what sounded like a city situation. The owner was at a loss of what to do with their dog, that would redirect on them, if they tried to tell him NO or correct him. What we see (so far) is a boy who has not been socialized with dogs (other than the dog he lived with) or properly with people. We don't see a bad dog just a dog that needs some social time, that he will get here. First order of business, is to get him neutered, vaccinated and chipped.
