Mr Bluff has a pending adoption. Will be working cattle, and be his owners right hand man.
4-16-13 Bluff comes into rescue from an IN shelter, where he had two strikes against him. He showed up as a stray at one shelter and was mouthy with the volunteers at that shelter. He was then transferred to a second shelter where he was on the adoption floor until he came down with an URI. When he was better, he was taken to an adoption event, where he was given a "bully stick" which he became possessive of when a volunteer tried to take it away from him. He caught a tooth on the volunteers hand and broke skin, so it was reported and he has spent the last 10 days in quarantine. He was tagged as un-adoptable through the shelter, and rescue was suggested for him.
According to his paperwork, he passed the temperament testing that was done. Our AuCaDo volunteer went to meet him, and her evaluation was that he was not showing that he was un-adoptable. I know this is only the first day, yet what we are seeing is a boy that is just full of himself. We can tell he has all this pent up energy and he doesn't know what manners are. Mark took him for a long walk, and we ran out of time and light.
