2-22-14 Deposit Received
2-3-14: Fable has been in our care for 2 weeks now. He was depressed when he arrived, but has started to smile again. He is doing great with his crate training, has never had an accident in the house, is learning his house manners, does great with all humans and other dogs he has met. Fable was wonderful at the vet and they commented how nice of an ACD he is. He is showing a lot of interest in our cat, I would recommend no cats at this time.
1-19-14 Fable comes into rescue from an OH shelter. Fable is a stout male with his paperwork showing him at 1.5 years old. He was a good boy at the shelter & was good with the transporter. Fable introduced well to our resident male, yet the resident male knew that he was just recently neutered. He is fully vetted & will have his 2-3 week evaluation period.
Fable did live with a female ACD, and they both came into the shelter as strays, earlier this month. This was their second tour in the shelter as strays, yet the owner only came to reclaim them the first time in 2013. This time though, the owner did not come for them or relinquish them so they could move on. We were told that the female ACD did not pass her temperament test after waiting many days for this owner. We are sorry for her.
