12-21-13 Winnie returns to the Remus Ranch, after 5 years of adoption. We will be accepting applications / questions / concerns "privately" for Winnie, due to her being a return. Our concerns are that Winnie stays safe, happy, and well cared for.
Winnie is now 6 years old, and she was adopted at right around one year of age. She is a bit overweight, and has very-very long nails, all the way around. She is a friendly girl, who wants to go out and play, yet we would like to get the toe nails better, so she can walk correctly and not damage the nails. Winnie has a great attitude, yet needs some manners training, same as when she left here. She is a smart girl, and can be trained to walk on the leash better than what she did during transport.
Things happen for a reason. Winnie is back, through no fault of her own. Winnie is going to make someone a great companion, with the right person(s). We find that new homes after a return end up being a good / better thing for the dog(s) and their new family. This is my wish for Winnie, that she heals up, and moves on, when the time is right.
