11-16-13 Silas had a meet and greet (along with others) and did well. He has a deposit to hold him until Wednesday 11-20-13 when his new family will be back for him. This gives us a few more days for them to prepare and for us to do some more obedience work with him.
10-19-13 Silas comes into rescue after 2 weeks with the third owner(?) who answered a Craiglist ad, selling an intact ACD. Silas is between 1 and 2 years old, not for sure, because there was no paperwork that accompanied him. Silas will get neutered, vaccinated, hw tested, microchipped and anything else he might need on Monday. The reason for the latest surrender was because of his distraction with the cats in the home. Silas does need some manners training, so we will start there, after he heals up.
