9-4-13 Maxine's Deposit came in the mail today. She will be going to her new home on Saturday, September 7th.
8-31-13 Maxine had a meet and greet, complete with long walks (on leash) and play in agility field (off leash).
8-12-13 Maxine is an 11 month old Blue Heeler female who was saved from a farmer's bullet by a nice young man. The reason given was because she would not ride on the tractor, like the other heeler that he had. She was allowed to run free on the farm, and I guess she was supposed to learn things by osmosis. Maxine came to the young man's home without his asking first, yet he could not see her being in danger. (Thank You, Mom, for helping your son to help Maxine) The family home is on a busy road, and they had to keep her tied up to keep her safe, until we had the room for her.
