Pinion - 1 Year Later
It's been a little over a year since we brought our ACD, Pinion, into our home, (thank you, AuCaDo Rescue!), and we only grown to love him more and more with each passing day! He still looks like the same puppy we brought home so many months ago; he was a little rolly-polly puppy back then and he still has a little bit of that puppy belly now. In those early days he would spend a lot of his time with us in the kitchen - I moved my office in there so I could keep an eye on him while I worked, plus the hard wood and tile floors meant any puppy-related messes could be cleaned up quickly and easily. Because of those months spent playing and sleeping in there it remains one if his favorite rooms to relax in. He would lean against the side of the cabinets and look up longingly at whoever was sitting there, as if asking, "Will you throw this ball for me?" Well, he still leans against those cabinets and he still has that look in his eyes.The wonderful ladies of AuCaDo, Monica and Corene, (with the support of Barbara Christine), really did us a favor when they accepted our application to adopt our little boy. We strongly urge everyone who can spare some time or money to support what they are doing there at the AuCaDo rescue because they do a lot to make sure these dogs live long and happy lives.
