Female Tri Color, coming up on 6 months old. She is recently spayed so we are accepting applications now.

5-11-22 Nala G comes into rescue as a shelter transfer after being owner surrendered. She is unsure of many things but does come around more readily each day. The owner said she is good with kids. She is very sweet when you get to know her.
(Adopted) Marshall 2-28-22
2-10-22 Marshall comes into rescue as a shelter transfer. He is a good boy.
(Adopted) “Senior Hayley” 5-15-22
3-24-22 Sr Hayley comes into rescue as an owner surrender due to moving into trailer park with 3 dogs that has a 2 dog limit. The owner had her for 3 years but just recently had her spayed with help from a Good Samaritan (thank you). Her paperwork shows her weight at 66 pounds, she needs to lose 20 pounds, to get her figure back. She loves to play fetch which will help with that concern. We will be looking for someone to have her health be a priority.
Adopted “Shawnee” 4-13-22
3-20-22 Shawnee comes into rescue here as a transfer. She is a very sweet girl after a few minutes. She has been bounced around, weaned puppies and been spayed etc. Understandably she needs to get her bearings. She has been an Amish breeder dog so she has a docked tail. We were told that she is good around children. Applications will be accepted during her 2 week evaluation period.
Adopted “Bayley” 5-1-22
2-18-22 Bayley comes into rescue as an owner surrender due to her owner fighting cancer.
Bayley is around 30 pounds and is starting to fit in better. She is afraid of others dogs, due to lack of socialization. She is looking for her person.

11-29-21 Cola came in as a transfer from public safety after she was running at large and then trapped. She is very afraid.
(Adopted)“Cricket”
12-3-21 Cricket comes into rescue as a shelter transfer after owner surrender to shelter. Cricket is not socialized but seems to be willing to learn. She likes food/treats.
(Adopted)“Rocket”
11-14-21 Rocket comes into rescue as an Owner Surrender due to a resource guarding incident and an intact male in the home. Rocket is neutered and has won over every one here at the rescue.
(Adopted) “Dezi”
11-29-21 Dezi, DOB 12-26-20, comes into rescue as an owner surrender from Detroit due to being mouthy with some family members. He is very workable with the right experienced person. (He was still intact which didn’t help matters. )
Dezi looks to be a mix, as he is really up on legs. His coloring and attitude is ACD though.
(Adopted) Chocolate “Evie”
10-27-21 Evie comes into AuCaDo Rescue as owner surrender / after shelter adoption did not work out. Evie is a pretty chocolate color with some fear issues. She does feel more comfortable with another dog here. She knows sit command but wants to bark at you first. She is not ready yet but wanted her information posted.
Welcome “Harbor Fog” 10-22-21
10-22-21 Harbor Fog comes into AuCaDo Rescue as a shelter transfer. He was owner surrendered to a shelter due to being grumpy with kids, growling at adopter while he commandeered their furniture. At the shelter he redirected on their doors. It looks like lived with a PB but did not like other dogs.
Since coming into AuCaDo he has shown great strides. He wanted to be defensive of “come here” but has learned he doesn’t need to worry about punishment. He has blended into a pack and looks forward to social time. He keeps a clean crate but does alert on the dog next to him.

10-22-21 Adopted
9-20-21 Buckle comes into rescue as a shelter transfer. His DOB is 7-6-20 and he was owner surrendered to the shelter as an intact male.
His paperwork shows him good with dogs, cats and kids.
Buckle is now neutered and ready to accept applications.

8-27-21 Taurus comes to AuCaDo Rescue as a shelter transfer, after he had a failed adoption. ( Not surprising as he was intact and NO manners. )
DOB 1-9-21 He is now neutered and learning social skills. He is a work in progress and doing better now.
The potential is there.

8-22-21 Queso comes into rescue as a shelter transfer after being adopted and returned. She is not blue or red but a chocolate color. She is easily frightened, needs socialization. ACD experience required.
Adopted “Red Bentley”
8-21-21 Bentley,, 2 years old, comes into rescue due to nipping/mouthing towards people. He is a little overweight which can be some of it also.
(Adopted)“Calcifer”
8-21-21 Calcifer, DOB 6-30-20, comes into rescue as an owner surrender due to food aggression around another dog. The initial phone call stated they were moving as well.
(Adopted) “Argus” 8-21-21
8-21-21 Argus comes into rescue, as an owner surrender, due to the senior dog injuring him. Argus DOB is 6-3-20 and he only weighs 22 pounds. He has front legs that are short and not heeler looking He can be fearful, so ACD experience will be required. Applications accepted until he is ready for meet and greet. .

12-26-21 Skyler adopted.
7-6-21 Skyler, an older pup, DOB 1-21-21 comes into rescue for not being able to care for her. She lived in an apartment and was originally brought to the apartment by an ex relationship. The pup had Parvo and seems thin. No social skills.
