10-8-17 Senior Max comes into rescue due his owner going into assisted living, with some major health issues. The family tried to bring him into their home, yet it was said that the dog did not like the young children "bugging" him.

Senior Max is 9 years old (still waiting on his paperwork) and was purchased as a puppy from Petland. He was tagged as an Australian Kelpie/Shetland Sheepdog. What I see is a sad boy. He is extremely overweight, starting at 90# and is down to 80# now. (Should be around 60#)
