10-16-15 Sissy is a 3 year old red heeler female, who came into rescue as an owner surrender. The owners, in their 80's could not care for her due to health concerns on their part. Sissy is a big girl, and has not lived with another dog, or much in the way of socialization. She was taken from the breeder and litter at 4 weeks old, which explains how hard it was for her to fit in here. We've given her a month to settle in, and now feel she can meet and greet with the right applicant.

Sissy now hangs out daily with Eathan, Moon and Mya. While she is "afraid" of meeting new dogs, she is learning, and doing well.
