2-5-15 AuCaDo Rescue Remus (MI) Ranch welcomes "Marmalade" into foster care while waiting for her forever home. She was in an OH shelter for a few weeks, where she was stressed out, showing some separation anxiety and the shelter tagged her as deaf. My initial feeling is that she can hear, yet shows NO "training". I want to make sure that she is not just reacting to the other dogs before I make a final determination.
2-5-15 Marmalade had a very long transport, and met transport volunteers along the way, which she did great with. She also traveled with 4 pups and that didn't seem to phase her having them in the crate next to her.
4-30-15 Marmalade, has had a meet and greet (Monday) which she did well with a youngster 1.5 year old. She has been working on her eye contact (no she is not deaf, like we were told) and she is doing much better. She will sit on your feet, and look up at you. She is interested in looking at the cats, and can stop looking when she is told. She is a good leash walker, and is helping raise Ms Shawna.
