3-9-15 Seymour has a pending adoption, and joins Ms Helga as a companion.
3-5-15 Seymour was vetted today. All vaccinated, chipped, neutered, weighed, and given the okay to be adopted.
12-2-14 AuCaDo Rescue was contacted by a purchaser of a 3.5 week old ACD puppy. The puppy was being bottle fed, and the purchaser felt that reaching out for help was what was best for the puppy. At first, I suggested that the puppy go back to the Momma, yet the purchaser pointed out that the puppy would most like just be sold again. Please note that under the law, the puppies are supposed to stay until they are 8 weeks old.
1-1-15 Seymour is 8 weeks old, is growing, and is learning how to socialize with Olivier, Archer and Fargo. The 3 older boys should be given medals, as Seymour is a typical ACD puppy "brat"! He heels them, chews on them, and sasses them. What Seymour really needs is another ACD youngster his own age. While he is going to be better by having this exposure, he is still going to be a naughty boy by missing out on those formative weeks. Please let his story be a teaching moment. Please don't shop, please adopt!
2-16-15 Accepting Applications for our Mr Seymour. ACD experience is required to be considered for this youngster. It must be remembered that Seymour is technically a "singleton" which is an added part of his personality.
