12-21-14 Mitzi, nka Maisy, now shares her home with Mr River Banks!

11-18-14 Mitzi, who is deaf, comes into rescue with pack mate, Ice, an ACD x BC, after their owner passed away about 6 weeks ago. Mitzi, is around 3-4 years old, and spent time in Michigan and in Canada. We don't have much info on them, except that they had been left alone while a family member took care of them twice daily while looking for a better place for them. This family member brought them here in a snow storm, and waited for room at the rescue to open up here. Mitzi is finding it hard to be moved around, as she does not understand. The girls will be separated at times while here, in case they are adopted separately.
