8-19-13 Iaan and GarLyn have pending adoptions!
7-2-13 Iaan, now 11 months old, continues to grow up in rescue. Iaan is very much crate trained, and ready to show that he can be house trained by an owner who knows what they are doing. Iaan is very dog social, loves to play, and loves to be with his person. He is always right by my side hoping for a bit of attention. Sure, he still acts like a puppy, and is easily excitable upon first meeting, but give him a few minutes and you will see his good boy side.
11-3-12 Iaan comes into rescue as an owner surrender to a MI shelter, due to living outside, as he was not properly house trained. First order of business, is the crate training. The shelter had his vetting done, except for microchip, so we adopted him in order to bring him here. Our goal is to place him into a home where he will not be given up on and continue crate training.
11-17-12 Iaan moves up in seniority, yet he is still struggling with submissive pee. I feel that someone may have been "heavy handed" with him, as he feels like he is always in trouble.
12-8-12 Iaan continues to improve, and seems to be in a growth spurt, as he is eating everything in sight. He still has his baby teeth, so we are still aging him around the 4 month mark, until he loses them. He keeps a clean crate, and his submissive pee times are every once in a while, instead of every day.
12-20-12 Iaan is getting his big boy teeth now, so will age him at 4.5 to 5 months of age. Iaan is going to be a big adult, when he grows into his big feet.
3-1-13 Iaan has a deposit to hold until Roscoe P gets acclimated to his new home. At the right time, Iaan will be joining Roscoe P.
3-8-13 We are moving Iaan's bio back up to available status, and returning his deposit. The family would like more time to work Roscoe into the family, and are afraid that having two youngsters together at this time might not be the best decision. They are not giving up on him, and I want to give them time to work things through without the pressure of the deposit in the background. 3-1-13 Iaan has a deposit to hold until Roscoe P gets acclimated to his new home. At the right time, Iaan will be joining Roscoe P. ACD experience will be required for applying for young Iaan.
