Chakira 3-27-14 Meet and Greet 2-15-15 Adoption Pending 2-22-15 Thank You, Dave-Mary-Larkin For Sponsoring Lupine Collar Thank You, Jeannie in CO, For Sponsoring Chakira Thank You, Sue in Canton, For Sponsoring Chakira 3-27-14 Chakira is a 10 month old blue heeler (mix) female who was surrendered to rescue due to loss of financial means here in Michigan. The bad winter weather made "outdoor" work impossible, so the owner is moving out of state to look for work, is what I was told. Chakira is a leggy girl with blue speckles, kind of like Isaah. Chakira has learned to use those legs to become a fence jumper, yet we do have a special exercise yard that is equipped for this, since many ACD's have been let do this. She is a friendly girl, after giving her a few minutes to warm up. She mingles with the pack, yet you can tell she doesn't have much experience with a pack. She will be vetted on Monday, as she has not had this done. She seems to be crate trained and is trying her best for me.
