4-13-14 Zander has a pending adoption.

3-25-14 Zander comes into rescue from a Michigan shelter where he was an owner surrender. According to the paperwork, he was acquired in January, and given up because he "herded the kids". (We've heard that one before.)

First Impression upon meeting him in his shelter cage was anxiety upon being in there. His bark was more like a scream for help. He seems a bit more happy being here, yet you can tell he doesn't understand. They thought he was about 2 years old. He weighs 47 pounds.
