10-31-13 Tupper is coming back into rescue on Saturday (11-2-13), per phone call.
10-8-13 Tupper had a meet and greet, and is now heading back to his new home 700 miles away. Tupper will have worries at first, as he is a sensitive fellow, but once he settles in, he will show what a gem of a boy he is.
9-28-13 Tupper has a pending adoption, and is awaiting a meet and greet with an out of state adopter.
8-2-13 New name for his new life, moving forward, is Tupper.
7-31-13 Tupper comes into rescue, after he was owner surrendered to a Northern MI shelter. The reason given was "moving" yet was found out there was more to the story that the shelter did not disclose. Tupper is 4 years old, a dark blue handsome boy, with a long tail. He has a soft coat and is at the correct weight. He has a very distinctive black stripe down his back, which adds to his good looks.
First meeting went very well, seems to like to ride as he traveled 100 miles without an incident. After a while, we also had him meet Jesabelle, which went very well, with a bit of play. He acts like he did live in a house, by his soft hair coat and his keeping watch of the house door.
Tupper did get into a bit of trouble at the shelter because he would come up to the fence, where he would jump around and scare people. I feel he was seeking his family, and was acting very typical of an ACD. We are not worried about him, as we understand how he feels and will not trifle with his affections.
