9-16-13 McZiva has a pending adoption to hold her for a meet and greet on the 28th.
7-23-13 McZiva is settling in, and getting used to crating over night, and how to not bust through a doorway or open gate. She seems to think that she can be a bully on a collar and lead, yet is trying to do better. Ziva is a friendly girl, and has been around children prior to coming here. McZiva is also getting used to being independent from her brother. The pair will be adopted separately. They have nice temperaments, and just need some basic training.
7-3-13 McZiva and her brother McGee, come into rescue from a Southern Ohio shelter as Owner Surrenders.
McZiva's paperwork shows she is 13 months old, and weighs a whopping 62 pounds. The paperwork shows that they have "naturally" docked tails. They actually have NO tails at all, like they thought that docking them that close would be okay? They are scared, but we were also able to put ParaStar (for fleas and ticks) on them. We have pulled off some ticks and found some fleas also. A better inspection will be done in the daylight.
