7-11-13 Madalena has a pending adoption.
7-1-13 Madalena returns to rescue, due to medical concerns within the human family. The family wants everyone to know this was not the dogs fault, at all.
9-17-12 Deposit to hold Madalena taken after meet and greet. The adopter will return around 9-30-12 and may consider adding a second dog in a few weeks, to join Miss Madalena. We gave some advice about what to consider with adding a second. We need to think about what is best.
7-31-12 Madalena comes into rescue from a West Michigan shelter where she was for almost 3 weeks. She was very afraid at the shelter and must not have eaten while she was there because she is super skinny, showing all bones. Funny thing is, that she likes her food mixed with canned food, and she eats it all up. Not sure what was so hard about figuring this out.
We will let her get some weight on her before her spay appointment. She has a docked tail through no fault of her own. She is sweet, and welcomes attention.
